Franklin County Jail inmate dies after being found unresponsive in cell

COLUMBUS – A Franklin County Jail inmate has died after being transported to Grant Medical Center.Brent Lewis Gibney, 29, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Franklin County Jail on October 1, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.Authorities say he was transported to Grant Medical Center and was pronounced dead on October 4.According to a release, the Franklin County Coroner performed an autopsy on Gibney.
