Franklin County employees given raise to 'living wage'

Franklin County Commissioners voted Tuesday to raise pay for 126 union employees to at least $13.69 per hour, the minimum living wage commissioners say their workers should be paid. The members of the AFSCME, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, were the last group of employees who work for the commissioners to agree to alter their contracts to accommodate the living wage increase.
