Franklin County deputy injured after cruiser hit by suspected drunk driver

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A Franklin County deputy was hospitalized after his cruiser was hit by a suspected drunk driver, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.The deputy was on a traffic stop in the westbound lanes of SR-104 near Haul Road when his cruiser was hit just after midnight on Sunday.A photo shared by the sheriff's office shows damage to the back of the cruiser.The sheriff's office said the deputy was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
