Franklin County deputy escapes harm in "ambush attack"

Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin says he's upset someone opened fire on one of his deputies in what the sheriff describes as an "ambush-like attack."The ordeal unfolded just after 7 a.m. Sunday morning at an apartment complex on Leesburg Court in west Franklin County.Sheriff Dallas Baldwin said the suspect was busted trying to break into a truck in a parking lot."The owner of the truck came out and confronted him, at which point it appears the suspect pulled a gun and shot at the owner of
