Franklin County Democrats won't endorse treasurer candidate

The Democratic candidate for Franklin County treasurer won’t have her own party’s backing in the November election. The Franklin County Democratic Party voted Thursday night to not endorse in the county treasurer’s race. That means Cheryl Brooks Sullivan, who knocked off incumbent Treasurer Ed Leonard in the March primary, will not appear on the party’s sample ballot.
