Franklin County common pleas judge arrested for OVI

Monica Hawkins, a judge with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Division, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop Thursday night, according to police.Pickerington police say they received a call about an erratic driver traveling northbound on Route 256 near Refugee Road at around 8:30 p.m.Officers pulled over Hawkins, who was arrested on an OVI charge, processed and released.Hawkins was elected as judge in November.No further information was available.
