Four seriously injured in Fairfield County crash

Four people are in serious condition after the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a crash between a van and a pickup truck Saturday morning.The crash happened at 8:36 a.m. on Basil Western Road near Allen Road.A medical helicopter was called for one person involved in the crash. That patient and two others were transported to Grant Medical Center, according to Violet Township fire officials.Another person involved was sent to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
