Four dead in weekend homicides

A violent weekend in Columbus ended with four people dead in separate incidents, bringing the total number of homicides in the city so far in 2018 to 28. At approximately 9:50 p.m., Columbus police officers were called to the 900 block of Rarig Avenue on the East Side on a reported shooting found Brent Carr lying on the sidewalk, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeff Strayer said.
