Former PUCO chief lobbies against profit guarantees for certain AEP plants

A familiar face in Ohio utility regulation is helping to lead a campaign against profit-guarantee proposals for American Electric Power and FirstEnergy. Todd Snitchler, who was Public Utilities Commission of Ohio chairman from 2011 to 2013, has come forward as the public face for a coalition of companies that says the proposals will undermine the state’s competitive market.
