Former Ohio State Buckeye John Hicks has died at the age of 65.According to his family, Hicks passed away due to complications from diabetes.His wife, Cindy, said that John loved his family, teammates, friends and Ohio State.The Cleveland native played for the Buckeyes from 1970-73. He was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten and two-time first-team All-American during his career.His big season came in 1973 when Hicks won the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy.
