Former Newcomerstown officer pleads guilty after false shooting claim

Bryan Eubanks, the former Newcomerstown police officer who tried to cover up a suicide attempt by saying someone else shot him during a traffic stop, pleaded guilty to several charges.Eubanks now faces potential prison time and his certification as peace officer has been revoked.The Ohio Attorney General’s Office said he pleaded guilty to the following charges:One count of inducing panic, a fifth degree felonyOne count of making false alarms, a fifth degree felonyTwo counts of tampering wi
