Former model gets 7 years in murder-for-hire case

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — There was no trace of her former model self today as Tara Lambert stood in red jailhouse scrubs and rubber shoes and learned she will spend the next 7 years in prison. Pickaway County Common Pleas Judge P. Randall Knece could have sentenced her to 11. Following a two-day trial, a jury of eight men and four women deliberated just 45 minutes on Jan. 27 before convicting Lambert on a first-degree felony charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.
