Forecasters predict milder winter

Yes, today’s a perfect fall day, plenty of sunshine, temps in the 70s. But winter’s bearing down on us. And you know what? It doesn’t look like it’s going to be that bad. The National Weather Service and AccuWeather are both projecting a warmer-than-average winter — December through February — with below-average snowfall.
