Flu now widespread in Ohio

With spring just around the corner, it seems flu season finally has hit Ohio. During the last week in February, flu-related hospitalizations topped 200 for the first time this season, the Ohio Department of Health announced today. Those 203 hospitalizations — 31 of which were in central Ohio — marked a huge jump over 93 from the previous week, bringing the total hospitalizations to 653 since flu season began in October.
