First responders save dog from icy pond in Galloway area

GALLOWAY, Ohio – A dog is recovering with a local veterinarian after first responders saved it from an icy pond in the Galloway area on Wednesday.The Prairie Township Fire Department and members from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a pond off of Amity Road Wednesday afternoon.A video posted by the Prairie Township Firefighters Association on social media shows first responders bringing the dog out of the water.The fire department said the dog is being treated for hy
