Firefighter re-indicted on child rape charges

A Delaware County grand jury has returned a second indictment against a Columbus firefighter accused of raping a 6-year-old girl 11 years ago. Timothy Durbin, 51, of Columbus' Northeast Side, faces four counts of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of kidnapping for incidents that the now-17-year-old girl said occurred between July 1, 2003, and July 31, 2004.
