Fire alarm saves people inside burning home

Two people made it out of their burning home, thanks to a smoke alarm.The fire started around 11:30 Thursday night on Autumn Village Drive, near Frank Road in southwest Columbus.Firefighters say a smoke detector alerted one of the people inside the house about the fire.When firefighters arrived, they found one person lying in the yard.That person was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.The other person was treated at the scene.Investigators have not yet released a cause of t
