Fewer refugees being resettled in central Ohio
Kabashi Matamba remembers seeing people he knew in Uganda being devastated earlier this year when their flights to the United States were canceled while this country debated a travel ban. Often, that devastation manifested itself as high blood pressure, strokes and other health problems, as families tried to figure out what to do after they had sold their homes, animals and more for an opportunity that was no longer coming, Matamba said.
