FEMA delays "Presidential Alert" test until October 3

Cell phone users will receive a message from President Trump as FEMA tests a new alert system, but not until October.The goal is to alert Americans to emergencies -- like severe weather and missing children.Most cell phone users were set to receive the alert Thursday afternoon, but that has been delayed until 2:18 p.m. Oct. 3. The delay is to evaluate the operational readiness of the infrastructure for distribution of a national message and determine whether technological improvements are needed
