Federal penalties may be death knell for ITT tech institutes in Ohio

A triple-whammy of penalties from the federal government could put ITT Technical Institute schools out of business, forcing hundreds of central Ohioans to find new schools and make sure they're not stuck with now-useless student loans. A state agency is gearing up to help ITT's 2000 or so Ohio students transfer to other schools if necessary. "We're going to have to work to see if we can get them enrolled in other places," said John Ware, executive director of the Ohio Board of Career Colleges an
