Fairfield County deputy resigns after shoplifting accusation

A Fairfield County deputy sheriff has resigned after she was shown on a security camera shoplifting from a Walmart store in Reynoldsburg while she worked special duty, Sheriff Dave Phalen said on Monday. Phalen said he asked for the resignation about two weeks ago of Angela Fleming-Curry, a deputy since 2004, after Walmart contacted his office to report shoplifting on Oct. 18 and Dec. 13.
