Facebook post about odd bird brings missing macaw back to Columbus Zoo

A blue-and-gold macaw that flew away last week has been safely returned to its perch at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Zoo staff captured the bird on Tuesday afternoon, according to the zoo’s Facebook page. The bird was found on Carriage Road near Powell, about 3 miles from the zoo as the macaw flies.
