Ex-Fairfield County treasurer employee charged with theft

LANCASTER — A former clerk in the Fairfield County treasurer's office has been indicted on a theft-in-office charge. The fifth-degree felony charge, punishable by up to a year in prison if convicted, alleges that Christina K. Fox stole less than $1,000 last year from the office.
