Ex-Alexandria official charged with theft in office

NEWARK — A former Alexandria fiscal officer has been indicted on theft-in-office and other charges for allegedly stealing $80,000. The indictment filed Thursday in Licking County Common Pleas Court charges Laura VanScoy Andrews with single counts of theft in office, tampering with evidence and dereliction of duty.
