Event at state fairgrounds aims to match pets with new owners

Some shelter animals might find themselves curling up at the feet of a new owner this weekend after the second annual Fetch a Friend Adopt-a-thon, hosted by SAVE Ohio Pets. From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, central Ohioans searching for a cuddly new friend can make their way to the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center to meet pets from more than 50 animal rescues and shelters.
