Earth Day

Central Ohio residents can celebrate Earth Day Saturday by communing with their furry and feathered friends, by doing some spring cleaning or by showing their support for environmental science. The first Earth Day was observed on April 22, 1970, to call attention to environmental issues and has led to adoption of a number of laws and regulations governing conservation, pollution and land use.
