Dublin teacher performs Heimlich, saves 7th grader from choking

A Dublin City Schools seventh-grade teacher, reading to her class, saw a student choking and leaped into action, saving a student with the Heimlich Maneuver last week.According to teacher Annie Fussner, on Oct. 18, she was reading "The Butterly Effect: How Your Life Matters" by Andy Andrews to her fifth-period class.A student by the name of Jack approached her while reading, and was leaning over on the desk in from of her.Fussner stopped reading to check on Jack, realizing he wasn't breathing.
