Drug trafficker sentenced to more than 7 years

A man described by government officials as being a leader of a million dollar cocaine-distribution ring in Columbus was sentenced today to more than 7 years in federal prison. Jorge R. Real, 36, is one of 23 defendants caught in an effort by investigators to shut down a large-scale trafficking operation.
