Driversa demands drives up pump price
The average retail price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Columbus rose for the second week in a row, jumping 7 cents overnight to $2.49, 16 cents higher than on Jan. 22, according to a daily survey from the auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wex, Inc. "Crude oil has been selling at very expensive rates the past few months. Those higher market prices are now trickling over to consumers at the pump," said Jeanette Casselano.
