Driver dies when car slides off road into Fairfield County creek

A driver whose vehicle slid off the road into a creek was killed this morning in Fairfield County, the State Highway Patrol said. The crash was reported around 7:09 a.m. in the 8400 block of Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd. SW, also known as Rt. 22, near Amanda. The driver was alone in the vehicle, the patrol said.
