Driver dies after car catches fire in mulch bed

Emergency crews responding to a car fire near Pataskala found the body of a man inside the burning car early Thursday morning. Authorities say he had overshot a driveway, possibly rupturing the car's gas tank. Crews with the West Licking Joint Fire District responded just before 2 a.m. Thursday to a report of a fire on Columbus Road in Harrison Township, just east of Pataskala.
