Downtown Commission clears way for extended-stay hotel on E. Main Street

The Downtown Commission has cleared the way for an extended-stay hotel on E. Main Street that will cater to families and friends of patients in nearby hospitals. The commission this morning approved a certificate of appropriateness for a 104-room Home2 Suites by Hilton at 382-404 E. Main St., where a Kleen-A-Car car wash now operates. Construction is to begin by spring. The hotel would be near OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, as well as Franklin Universit
