DeWine says he supports CDC recommendations on pain pills
New federal guidelines aimed at slowing down the avalanche of addictive, narcotic pain pills prescribed each year have the support of Attorney General Mike DeWine and some state lawmakers. Rep. Robert Sprague, R-Findlay, joined DeWine today in backing revised guidelines proposed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The guidelines, which are not yet in effect, were drafted in response to ever-increasing number of prescriptions written for opioid pain killers.
