Details released in dog bite that injured infant in Knox County

MOUNT VERNON, OHIO -- The Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Mount Vernon Police Department are investigating a dog bite involving a 9-month-old girl Monday morning.Law enforcement was called to a home on South Jackson Street at 9:49 a.m.According to a press release, the child's mother was home at the time and said the dog bit the child's face. The dog had to be forcefully removed from the child.The girl was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital where she still is being treated for h
