Despite reporting few donations, Franklin County incumbents confident

With about six weeks before the primary election, it’s unclear how much cash a trio of Democratic Franklin County officeholders who didn’t receive their party’s endorsement will have to defend their seats. Commissioner Paula Brooks and Recorder Terry “TJ” Brown disclosed only donations their campaigns received through the end of 2015, as the law requires. Sheriff Zach Scott was not required to file a report because he filed after the general election in November.
