Deputy driving 100 mph will not face charges in fatal crash

A Franklin County deputy will not face charges in an on-duty crash last summer that killed a motorist on the Hilltop. City and county prosecutors reviewed the facts of the crash that claimed the life of Nyal "Bud" Brown on July 13, and both offices came to the same conclusion: that evidence did not support filing criminal charges against Deputy Brian G. Fritz.
