Democrats win five of six contested Franklin County office races

Democrats nearly swept contested races for Franklin County offices, winning five of six offices on the ballot Tuesday. Two county commissioner seats, treasurer, clerk of courts, recorder and prosecutor were all on the ballot. In the marquee race, Prosecutor Ron O'Brien, a Republican, defeated Columbus City Council President Zack Klein, O'Brien's first challenger in more than a decade.
