Delaware County warming shelter needs police to stay open

As the temperatures continue to plummet a Delaware County warming shelter struggles to help people in need.The warming shelter is open to men who need a bed and a hot meal."A Place of Warmth" at Zion United Church of Christ needs a special duty officer to keep the doors open.Volunteer Mike Newcomb says it's simple."The people who have come have really needed us," Newcomb said.The shelter keeps people from freezing to death."What concerns us are those people who don't have a plan, who suddenly fi
