Delaware County inmate dies after being found unresponsive in cell

An inmate has died after being found unresponsive at the Delaware County Jail Friday.According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, corrections officers found 46-year-old Edward Michael Sullivan of Ashley unresponsive while making rounds at 3:30 a.m.After unsuccessful lifesaving efforts, medics pronounced Sullivan dead at 4:06 a.m.“We are deeply saddened by his death and our hearts and prayers go out to Sullivan’s family,” said Delaware County Sheriff Russell Martin.
