Deductibles may double as OPERS avoids tax

Not yet eligible for Medicare, more than 70,000 retirees and family members who rely on Ohio’s largest pension fund for their health care might see their deductibles more than double in 2017. The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System warned that it might make those and other significant changes to dodge a looming federal tax on health-care benefits.
