Decision day for Issue 1 changes to Columbus council

Voters will decide today whether to drastically alter the makeup of the Columbus City Council as they cast ballots on a charter amendment that would expand the panel and create 10 city districts. Polls will open at 6:30 a.m. for the special election and close at 7:30 p.m. Issue 1 will be the only thing on the ballot for Columbus voters.
