Dayton Peace Accords commemorated 20 years later

WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Mike Turner will spend this weekend in Bosnia to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the treaty that brought peace to that country. Turner was mayor of Dayton when the Dayton Peace Accords were negotiated at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. He remembers the prayer vigils and support the community showed as the negotiators met, then how they maintained a relationship long after the negotiators left Ohio.
