'Dark money' begins flowing to support Husted's 2018 gubernatorial campaign

A Republican nonprofit group is jumpstarting the 2018 gubernatorial campaign by running digital ads touting the “free enterprise” record of Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted. The State Government Leadership Foundation, an independent, decade-old “dark money” group that supports Republican candidates, said beginning today it is running a “five-figure” digital-only advertising campaign highlighting Husted’s “unwavering support for small business and
