Crowds gather, old friends reunite for Jug Day

DELAWARE, Ohio — Crowds swarmed early around the grandstand and filled the hospitality tents, even though the Little Brown Jug’s final race was still hours away. The concessions and fair rides at the Delaware County Fairgrounds were buzzing with families and kids. There were reunions, with siblings greeting each other for the first time in months. Sunscreen was being slathered under blazing sun.
