United on the road to advance in the MLS Cup playoffs.Crew SC won on penalty kicks.The game went to extra time as the score was 1-1 at the end of regulation.There were goals by Frederic Brillant for D.C. United and Federico Higuaín for Columbus in the first half.Higuaín scored his second goal in the first half of extra time.The score was 2-2 at the end of extra time.Crew SC scored three penalty kicks while D.C.
