Crash involving a train and car kills 61-year-old man in Delaware County

DELAWARE COUNTY – A 61-year-old man was killed in when a train collided with a car Saturday morning.The Ohio State Highway Patrol say a call came in just after 9 a.m. to Franklin and Second Street in Orange Township.Witnesses told troopers a car stopped on the train tracks and was hit by a Norfolk Southern locomotive. The driver of the car died as a result of the crash, according to OSHP.This incident remains under investigation.
