Craig to run for Senate seat, setting up likely primary

State Rep. Hearcel Craig has announced he will run for an open Ohio Senate seat in Columbus, setting up a likely Democratic primary. So far, Craig and Kyle Strickland, a Harvard Law School graduate and attorney at the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, are vying to replace term-limited Sen. Charleta Tavares, D-Columbus, in the 15th District.
