Court fines ex-lawyer for continuing to practice

A former Columbus attorney was fined $10,000 by the Ohio Supreme Court on Wednesday for improperly continuing to practice law. Lorraine Furtado drafted estate-planning documents and provided legal advice for a man in 2012 and 2013 despite permanently surrendering her law license in 2000.
