Couple grateful to be alive after machete attack

Gerald and Debbie Russell weren't able to hold hands on Valentine's Day as they reclined on adjacent beds in the trauma unit at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. But the high-school sweethearts, both 43 and married for nearly 25 years, weren't allowing their injuries to spoil the romance of the day.
