County dog shelter director resigns

Kaye Dickson, the former Arizona deputy sheriff who was hired to steer the beleaguered Franklin County Dog Shelter back on track, is leaving her post a year after she arrived. In a letter submitted Friday to Franklin County Deputy Administrator Erik Janas, Dickson said she intends to return to Arizona and run for county sheriff.
